» Latest News... 7/10/06 - Thanks to everyone who came out to the Underground to support us! You really encouraged and inspired us and I hope that we did the same for you! Special thanks to guest drummer Shawn Rhoades, and guitar aficionado, Mark Brocke, without them we would have not have been able to play that night at all. We are going to wait for Jill's ankle to heal before considering any more big shows - so get better Jill! Until then you may catch us on an Open mic night here and there as we try out some new material with just our acoustic guitars at Fox and Goose or Old Ironsides or maybe...? See ya soon! 6/27/06 - Sad news to report... Our greatest and bestest drummer ever, Jill Hannon, has broken her ankle. Stepping into a hole in her backyard she snapped it in two and had to have surgery to put it back together. We will be praying for a speedy recovery, but its going to be a few weeks before Jill is drumming with us again :( We are going to continue playing with a number of guest drummers in the meantime. The first of which is Shawn Rhoades, who will drum for us at the Underground on July 6th. Also, Guitar aficionado, Mark Brocke, will be playing some choice licks with us that night as well. It should be a great show so don't miss it! (click here for more details) And in honor of Jill we are naming the rest of our summer gigs the "Have a Nice Trip, See You in the Fall, Jill Tour - 2006" Get well Jill, and as soon as she gets better we are headed into the studio to start recording the latest stuff. 6/14/06 - The new CD "Happy Goodbyes" is now available at a few local record stores in order to support our upcoming shows in and around town. You can find them at all 5 Dimple Record Stores, The Beat Record Store downtown, and the Tower Records on Watt Ave. In the meantime be sure to come to the Underground Cafe on July 6th to see us play the new stuff LIVE! Jill will be drumming (of course) and Mark Brocke will be doing the lead work on guitar. We need you help to get the word out. We want to play at the Underground more often and we can't do that unless you show up (with some friends). We promise not to bite (unless you want us to) and we will give away free CDs and 10 free lessons in Underwater Basket Weaving to some lucky concert goer. Mark your calendar now! 5/6/06 - We just finished an interview with Fox Channel 40 here in Sacramento because we placed 14th out of 500 in the "Faith-Based" category of American Idol Underground!! When it airs we will place up a video clip on the website. In the meantime: the new CD "Happy Goodbyes" is now here and for sale exclusively at Indie Heaven! So buy one, we need to feed our cats! (And they are hungry!) 5/4/06 - The CD is now out and available for sale exclusively by our friends at indieheaven.com. We are very happy with how it came out considering we recorded and mixed it in 5 different studios!
